I love seeing mutliple people from the trade forums selling unids here in this thread attempting to debunk this thing... I really do.

That being said, 85 items id'd after note padding the codes... All 30, including armor pieces, gave me the exact # of affixes that the code predicted per this thread. The items with multiple sockets had all sockets (1, 2 or 3) count as one affix. A socket affix apparently rolls on pants and chest like other affixes, and can roll 1-2 for pants, and 1-3 for chest.

All of that is FACT as of right now on the NA D3 server, live. Anyone telling you that it doesn't work, or saying that there is no value in doing this will probably attempt to sell you Unids shortly after...

My suggestion is to not buy unids untill this is fixxed, and no I will not help anyone do this exploit (as if it hasen't been outlined enough in this thread).

Correct. I'll see about writing a quick tool to tell you how many affixes an unid'd item can have. At least until Blizz fixes it to always show a quality of 4.

Just curious but isn't finding the number of affixes on a weapon totally useless? We don't know jack shit about the dps on it. Even if it has 6 affix if it has shit stats it still is shit.
