Hey guys, I hope someone can actually assist me. I recently started a monk and built it with survivability in mind. My only concern now, is that I won't be able to kill stuff fast enough.
I have ~920 all resists. 31k life. 1200 life on hit. 20% dmg reduce from melee. 1.68 atk per second. 14k dps.
Im currently dual-wielding (~780-800 dps) with star amethysts to up my LoH, but not sure if I should make a change for a higher DPS weapon at the cost of dex/loh.
My gear right now is a mess all around, and mostly composed of crap my wizard found that I just threw together. I will probably make real upgrades once I figure out what I should look for.
Is there an optimal DPS i should strive for? Im considering going crit/crit% to compensate for some dps, but don't want to lose atk speed/resist/dex. Thoughts?
I feel the same way, are you using sweeping wind? And Breath of Heaven damage buff?
If not, I suggesting using both of those and looking into crit damage like you said.
Another suggestion would be to use Conviction mantra if healing/evasion is not necessary for your survival. Overawe with 24 or 48% damage is HUGE.
