Great idea, not sure why I never thought of that.
I also tend to like the small healing amount over time, since I feel like with all the mobs in act 3, dodging won't matter because there's like 10+ more monsters waiting to whack at you

310 life per second for my 60k life... that's over THREE MINUTES (193 seconds) to regen my full life bar. i guarantee unless you have 10k life or something you will not even notice the life regen from this mantra.
however 15% dodge equals out to about 8-9% less of a chance that you will take ANY damage whatsoever.... that you will notice.

Um... No?
1000 resist all is overkill for a monk. If you need that much it you probably short-changed your armor, DPS, regen, or all of the above.
If a 600+ res all monk can make it through A2, its because he compensated for the low resists via something else. DPS, regen, or armor, or both. There is a sweet spot when balancing these things.
this. the way that the defensive stats are calculated (except life) the more you have of one, the more value you will get from the others.
i.e. it is ALWAYS best to balance out your defensive stats.
