I've done it. Save for the weapons and a couple of rings I found, this is doable. 600+ res all without One With Everything. 72% dodge. 1700 LOH.

The trick is looking at the best blues possible with dex/all res or vit/all res. Typically you want to favor dex over vitality. I only have 25k life, but can do A2 with ease and some parts of A3. Siegebreaker sucks though.

To elaborate:

A weapon with LOH is almost impossible to get for < 1 mil igg. You'll have to splerge on those.

not much difference for me, heard they were nerfing ias so didnt buy much of it.

A3 isnt to hard, do 23k dps, bad loh but i survive

With 5-6k fg, will I be able to buy/build myself a Good Monk to solo Inferno and run with friends and not have to kite the whole time?

probably not a3 and a4 so much

but 4-6k fg will get you a monk that can ez a1 and probably a2
if you get lucky, become patient, scoop deals, you could get gear that will elevate you to a3+ but it sounds like you just wanna play not sit in the AH for hours on end to find the best bang for your buck

I have been doing it already to sell all my gear from before. Couldnt finish A1 with it. Now I got about 4.5kfg now, will have more hopefully by the end of the day. Def willing to snipe stuff from AH. Just need someone to help me with the right gear to look for so I dont overpay for the wrong crap. But def trying to get stuff asap that can do A2-A3 for now at least so I can make some money again of gold drop and items I find. Been a while since I could play since my selling spree and it sucks lol

just aim for a 800 DPS / 500+ LOH / open socket claw or fast 1hander (prices seem to have skyrocketed to 10 mil+ but since u been keen on watching the AH, u should be able to snag something for a reasonable price)

everything else aim for all res + the res you wanna stack and high defense. dex is a priority also ofc and some critical hit chance %

then get your hands on a star+ amethyst to put in that 1h weapon with an open socket

what does 4.5k fg = igg now?
like 10 mil or so? 10 mil isnt the greatest budget to work with for an inferno build, but it will def get you a good enough one for a1 and maybe a2

Well. Its about 400-500 fg for 1 million igg. So 4.5fg could maybe buy me 10million. But I will be making some more igg soon and fg so 10-15million is what I hope to have in the near future.


How much Res and life is needed after patch? should I bother buying IAS rings or gear or is crit hit more important now?

I def need the gear to at least start Act2, since I already finished Act1
