Lightning Sentry DH = New meta...?

Definitely gotta look into it

Things that I noticed the most in the notes

Sentries = hella strong, even without Harrington to proc in Greater Rifts, the extra damage increases + Pet AI boosts are gonna help compensate for that

Lightning for sure will be something to explore, might have to put off my Raiment Monk even more now so I can start testing builds

CA gonna depend a lot on the new Preparation, I'm not holding my breath for this one and I've already started to convert my CA into Fire Sentry

RIP Poison Build I was working on, at least I can move the Chanon over to the Fire DH now

Cold will get a lot more support in this patch. This is great news for me, and I may not be stuck in Cold DH Hell with a Kridershot and a prayer for long

Finally, Shadow Set

I had been theory-crafting a Lightning M6 DH about a week ago for 2 reasons, 1) the added safety from constant stun might be more important than fire/phys' DPS in Greater Rifts due to harder mobs and 2) if M6 and EA was fixed it would make the damage output from sentries a lot better.

Was thinking of Kridershot + Ball Lightning, Wyrdward, Dazzling Arrow. Plop down sentries and spam BL+DA to stun, I haven't found a Wyrdward after finding my Krider though and well honestly I was waiting for the PTR so I could see how good it really is. ^^

In general though, the DH changes look nuts... o_O. Lots of things to try out now like Cold/Lightning builds, Sash of Knives and the changes to Shadow Set (I still kept my legacy cluster soj/DML so I want to see what CA DHs are like with this), plus I want to see how Impale/Chakram fare as M6 spenders instead of always going for MS+CA.

When you say this, does it mean that the stats are rolled when you identify the ring with another character so it gets str or intelligence instead of dex?
