Yeah, tried palm for couple rounds before and never used it again.

I've been liking the Skorn build these days against barbs. blind/overawe/tele sss. And bells, of course.

But I have to manage my spirit much better since I can't really hit to generate it fast like DW set up. Been using exalted/chant/beacon for Skorn build. Fun stuff.

The 3rd passive is really depends on your playstyle as well as barb's playstyle. I usually change it around in the first couple rounds and stick with the one that work the best against that certain barb.

I picked up some cheapo ehp gears to test it out on DHs. I got that ms ice climber for 10mil, so I was like why not? and bought couple stuff for fun. pvp gears are cheap anyway.

Ehp is pretty good and this set come with like +2000 lps / +20k potion bonus.

I'm gonna try to get my dmg up to 100k-120k with soj on. It should be too difficult. And that should be good enough against top end DHs. The things that actually kill DHs are blue bell/sss/palm anyway.

do you use that many aps vs all, or is that gear vs dh only? because it seems like many monks either try to get many aps or use skorn, but personally i have found attack speed pretty useless, except vs dh. wd i havent tested much yet. overall it seems like more dmg per hit is much more important, because most dmg comes from bells and sss anyways and attack speed doesent seem to be very important factor with them.

Most of the attack speed mods are there because those are my regular gears. I use them for all. I like more attack speed ALWAYS, not because it adds the paper dps (I never care for this and I find it stupid when people try to boost up the paper dps as high as possible), but because it cuts down the skill animations.

can u explain why attack speed is useful vs DH?

yea cutting down the animation is good, but dunno if its worth around 20% average weapon dmg vs most :/ (your ef vs decent rare spear/mace). also i find that bt pants are just too good to miss, so i went for inna helm + belt combo(and sometimes switch belt to bt), might go full time bt belt tho if i can afford some good enough sometime and get more dmg elsewhere to make up the dmg loss from inna.

faster thunderclap/dashing. too slow attack speed will make it so that dh can just kite away and you having really low chance of ever catching him, except with sss but dueling using sss only is kinda boring playstyle imo

For my playstyle, I prefer to get faster animation. Bell and palm already have slow ass animation. Lol

And I love BT pants too but I dont want to pick up a nice pair of cc lacuni which is extremely expensive. I MUST keep my 24ms for my style. So no choice but to go with innas pants.
