I think pants and armors might not be the same because they have a shot at multiple sockets, but I am not sure about this.

Is it possible for someone to run a separate diablo server that would genarate code untill we knew what the actual codes actually meant??

No doubt. I've been debating for a while if I was going to create a "helper" tool for the general public, to display real item stats (not the rounded values given by the display in-game) and pre-ID rarities. Chances are, it'll just get abused though.

Not to exploit the game, but I enjoy puzzles and statistics and am curious if I can make anything of these number. If you have several ID please pm me:

Lvl item, type item, code pre id, code after id (include stats)

im becoming pretty convinced the # of codes in the field corresponds to how many properties you will roll

10 was "predicted" to have 6 properties

rest are 4 properties

and i think it matches up pretty well. inconsistencies can be explained by double stat rolls.
