im at 172k dps and i went tanky resist build.... my bow is also only 1050 with a socket and dex....

if someone were to use a 1300 bow with a socket, that would be easily attainable

Might recommend cluster arrow with loaded for bear, great burst especially with decent crit % and crit dmg

So yesterday i found a 1100 dps xbow in act1 farming... and decided to try it on my DH.
Man does it shoot slow! went from 2.00 to 1.3ish APS. So i felt i had to re-tweak my build to give me as much attack spam time as possible in fights.

Basically, whichever you prefer, NT or Ball Lightning. This build is centered around fueling it for as much spam uptime as possible.
Caltrops spamming to immobilize mobs, only having to kite a small bit between NT spams.
Justice is Served simply to regen hatred as fast as possible, bonus being it helps snare mobs.
Vault can be changed to any preferred defensive style, i chose the free rune cause i want discipline for pure Caltrops/Gloom.
And lastly Gloom, fueled by high crit + Nightstalker, you can spam this fairly often along with Caltrops... and cross ur fingers for Backup plan to procc when needed.

fun build that i find excels in one of the DH's worst enemies, small spaces.
