Does mass confuse prevent elites from using things like mortar, arcane, plague, etc?

yes

but they still run around, if there is something not charmed, they attack it, also they attack minions

ideal situation is, if you have no minions and are lucky enough to charm entire pack (all of them), then they sit in one spot for 12 seconds and take damage
but that almost never happens ofc because chance for charm is 50%

if your farmign alone, use Templar speced with the skill Intimidate, Then use horrify, they mobs wont run away so fast due to the slow from attacking your charging templar, and your bears can get some good damage in. You can use mass confusion after with paranoia. The Dimin returns for CCs skills wont be as bad if your using 2 differant skills that basically do the same thing. (keep you from getting instapwned).
even if you dont charm them all, the uncharmed mobs will attack the charmed one.

btw anyone tested explosive toads? Are they doing any aoe, or these explosions are only visual effect?

very quick vid ,of reflect mob , with 5.9 % life steal, dono what the problem is with these guys

The problem isn't with reflect, its with lifesteal. The reality is that you don't actually need lifesteal. Sure I wouldn't have to watch out for reflect packs if I had life steal but I would have to spend over a billion gold to get a similar weapon with lifesteal(I got my weapon for 99 mill). "Playing with my eyes closed" is not worth what I would have to sacrifice.

So the fact is that I will die if I spam bears into some reflect packs put I wouldn't call it a problem. Its just something that happens when I'm not paying attention.
Reflect is the only way many high lvl WDs die but its not a big issue that is holding anyone back.
