i hold skin and energy twister but the rest i just spam


I haven't tried it out actually I used to use an occy before I moved to a triumvirate but I don't really pay attention too much to elites it would help with ubers though but nor do I use teleport in my cm build ><
If i had more ehp I would use shocking aspect but I don't yet need more vit.



I find that upgrading in big steps is better than upgrading in small increments cause you don't lose as much igg while doing so
So I save until I can make an actual upgrade or something I actually need

Go big or go home.

Nice tip! I will follow it! Well i think i will buy only those 2 pieces for grant me a secondary build CM/WW then i will just save my funds for a big increment of my gear!

One of the best improvement i can think is a Crit Mempo / Tal Ammy with CC-CD / CC-CD Zuni Pox / Better Butcher Sickle.

I will save for a Mempo atm i need more survivability than more DPS

Same runes are working, wicked wind, chain reaction, whatever the 15% crit one is.
Just not as powerful as last patch.

Hey everyone,

I'm having a bit of difficulty with my CM/WW wiz; I get absolutely destroyed by anything with dots (plague, desecration, fire chains, etc.) + maniacs.

I try to move around a bit while freezing, but I usually end up dying in a few seconds. If I get lucky, I can chain freeze, but I have dying quite a bit (mp1-5).

Without buffs, I have 3.3k armor, 507 res, and 75k dps

With self buffs, I have 4.6k armor, ~650 res, and 83k dps (96 or so with 15% crit from nova)

I also have 35m to upgrade gear.


Any tips for a new CM/WW player?

get rid of glass cannon and sparkflint
add tele and cold blooded

also, more life and resistance. apoc in helm or source will help. and you need some kind of life replenish (loh or life steal)

don't focus on your sheet dps, it dont mean shit, especially if your dying a lot.

how the fuck do you guys expect to run a CM/WW build with less than 2.0 attacks per second?


2.3 is the bare minimum to run efficiently

I ended up getting a 600+ loh ammy (with cc/cd), and it really helped out a lot.

I definitely need more aspd, though, now. I'm at 1.98.

I find my wizard very easy to play with, so thought of sharing my "secrets" ( lol )

+ Permafreeze with some wisdom of how to spam nados/meteor ( this isnt hard )
+ I dont really die at all, but if I do, 90% chance that reason is succubus army or elemental stacks ( plagued + molten + electrified )
+ I kill fast enough on mp5-6, with 130k buffed dps
+ With soj, paper dmg is really far from true dmg ( +passive +soj +possible other modifications to dmg from gear +time warp)

Skills dont change, except for passive, but why change skills when theyre awesome
+ with my"high" aps of 2.5 + slow time and 45% crit, I can permafreeze bosses. Even if only vs one boss, like kulle.
+ still doing great dmg
+ Speed buff is actually very effective in team.





In other news: Does anyone know how well blizzard procs cm/loh ?

imo the combination of WW and Meteor is suboptimal, since they both have a casting animation and kinda block each other. (i tested this extensively already)
even if you get it right somehow, it will deliver less dps imo. But would be delighted if you prove me wrong
the diamond skin prism idea is neat imo, might try it, although i dont rly have arcane probs.
