Its one of the main reasons. You can pick it up and play it whenever you want to.
Why would anyone pay $15 a month if they only play it say.. an hour or two a week?
How many people would still play D2 after 10 years if you had to pay for it every month?

honestly wouldnt buy it lol would rather buy the mmo Star Wars The Old Republic. Would be way better for your money if it was p2p seeing that story would never end unlike diablo's 5 acts and having to do that 3 times through
