http://www.diablofans.com/blizz-tracker/topic/227302-patch-103-now-live/

Champions, Rares, and Uniques have had their pathing improved
Elite packs (Champion/Rare) now drop an additional item for players with 5 stacks of Nephalem Valor, which is guaranteed to be of Rare quality
Damage from monsters in Acts II, III, and IV in Inferno difficulty has been reduced
Colossal Golgor base damage has been reduced
Herald of Pestilence tentacle attack damage has been reduced
Soul Ripper and Soul Lasher damage has been reduced and both monsters will now run away less often
Wasps in Act II, Mage Constructs in Act II, and Winged Mollocks in Acts III and IV will now run away less

Succubus monsters will now run away less and for a shorter distance
The health pools of Woodwraiths in the Highlands now match the health pools of Woodwraiths in the Fields of Misery
Lacuni and Scavenger Rares and and Champions will now un-burrow when called by their allies
Bloodclan Warriors no longer knockback when buffed and attack slightly slower
Morlu no longer have the Invulnerable Minions, Health Link, or Fire Chains affixes
Plagued, Arcane Enchanted, and Electrified monsters no longer have resistance to Poison, Arcane, and Lightning damage (respectively)
Leaders of Invulnerable Minions packs have had their health pools reduced
Mortar monsters can now hurl projectiles farther, but their minimum range has also been increased by 100%

looks like some significant changes. good changes at that

35k life
600 res
6k armor
20% block
16k dps
700 LOH

With that, you can get through the game

50k life
800 res
8k armor
30% block
25k dps
1500 LOH

If you can afford it, you want that :)

You could even run the 2nd build as dps with 2 1handers :) I'm currently doing so with 45k hp/1k res all/~7k armor/70% dodge/25k dps and 2.5k LoH. Works out fantastic, but after this ias nerf it will be more difficult seeing as I'll have to stack a lot more ias to hit 2.0 to keep my LoH viable :S

YUP!! Funny too, cause the first setup is almost 100% what my stats are, creepy how close it is :P Just some advice to monks still struggling Act2 Inferno (albiet easier after patch now...) 6oo resists was the SWEET spot! I was at like 400 and could NOT stay alive with all my other stats where they should be. hit 600 resist and suddenly i could actually stand STILL during many fights even versus some champ mobs. It was on the cut off point... the cut off may be lower now after the mob nerfs however... *shrug*

Yup, gotta stack even MORE ias for one hander shield users... to reach the 2.0 sweet spot for LoH to be of ANY use.
Im considering sell off all my LoH before the prices drop, and picking up a bunch of Life per Spirit spent gear.

Really not happy about the ias nerf. I can only assume the balance comes from nerfed inferno, which i am also not happy about, i JUST made it through Act2 after a lot of hard work gearing... now? Everything will probably be too easy... *crossing fingers that acts 3/4 are still a challenge.*

It'll still be a challenge. Monster life and damage will come down, but so will players DPS because of the IAS changes. So it'll be easier, but it's not like people who couldn't do Act 3/4 will suddenly now be ripping through it. Bliz isn't that dumb (crosses fingers) :)

Just logged on. The IAS nerf has hit me for quite a bit -- went from 2.21 APS ~23.5k DPS unbuffed to 1.72 APS ~18.9k dps unbuffed. It may not sound huge, but the difference when fighting white mobs in my A3 tower farming spots is noticeable. Dual wielding with an equivalent weapon would put me at 1.97APS - still not quite over the edge of 2.0.

The fact that I started with a 1.30 base weapon is really hurting now more than ever.

That was what I was afraid of. I'll see the damage done when I login later today.

How many items did you have attack speed stacked on?

Amulet, Rings, Gloves, and Bracers. Each item gives me 6% ASI now for a total of 30ASI.

Killing mobs is much slower than before, even though they hit less hard and LoH seems to be a lot more effective than ever before. But overall, it's a pretty drastic nerf -- even with MoC Overawe and full buffs, it's taking forever to kill the toothpick throwers (well, they have shielding on them, but still).

I guess as long as you're staying up then it'll be okay. You think you'll have issue with the 3min enrage on ZK and Belial?
