Can someone give me a brief overview about lvl caps, banned items/skills, rules, etc?

Yes it is, definitely!

Caps are 10/18/30/42 as far as Im aware. But most people only play 30.
Banned items: Hamburger/Spectrum/Hellfire Ring
Banned Skills: All passives that give life regeneration, wd's can only use 1 CC skill and monk's can only use one instant heal skill

Rules:

Flawless square = max gem
Both say G before duel
No pots

Any class can be top notch provided you have the gear + skills however the best bang/buck classes are WD and Barb, Wizard and DH second and Monk last. However all of them can reach high hp/dmg numbers and have a broad amount of skills and builds that are usuable (broad as opposed to HLD I suppose, it's still only 2-3 builds max per class).

18? not 20?

I would prefer caps based on passives aswell.

What is the point of lvl 18 cap except of being the same as d2's ?

Lvl 19 unlocks 4th skill button and lvl 20 unlocks 2nd passive

so how to start a low level duel here? is there anyone that i can add and the dueling rules? and what level you guys prefer to duel with?

most ppl duel on lvl 30, which server u at ?
