Actually u made a good point that there would be other variables components to consider such as elites running away, out of fury etc. However, this would not be within the scope of this test.
The whole purpose of this test is to give public an insight of how much proportion of the damage is derived from whirlwind per se, and help them to make better decision of their offhand.
Sidenote: Pls note that this thread was actually posted half a year ago. I have personally come out with more effective way for farming etc. And you are right that ww build is not exactly the ideal single target dpsing barb builds currently.
