Just upgraded my weapon.

57052.1 is completely unbuffed dmg.

How much unbuffed dmg do I need to have in order for me to really roll through act 3 run with archon form?

Couple days ago, my unbuffed dmg was like 35k. Now it's at 58k. I was just wondering if I can maybe try the archon build.

I do need more life though, yes? Because there are times, in an archon form, I feel pretty fragile.

you got enough life and res, need a bit more dps. 80k would be enough for solo.
in a team if others are bad you'll actually need more dps. if there's 1 good tank you are already fine.

Why do you people always speak of unbuffed dps... buffed dps or even better, total damage dealt per second (not an easy value to determine with all th different mob types ofc) is all that matters.. i dont give a fuck if you have 70k unbuffed but need 3 buffs for survivability... total damage is all that matters. Id say 80+k is where archon starts being fun.

Talking about unbuffed stats makes it easier to compare chars and also to determine what is needed in terms of gear/skill.

Some will not have enough res/armor to use glass cannon for example, they need to take at least 3 hits to make use of lifesteal from their dps to survive and progress.
Some will not have enough dps to keep archon up by killing and moving on, since they are out of archon a lot they may not be able to use sparkflint + force weapon. Against they'll lose signifcan't dps. They'll probably need to use a signature spell + archon + force weapon + energy armor + twister + diamond skin.

unbuffed is just easier to compare at times.
If someone comes and says they have 70k unbuffed dps and 800 unbuffed res, then they could use pinpoint with energy armor to buff dps and buff crit % for CM instead of the more common Prismatic armor. 800 unbuffed + archon is plenty, 600 unbuffed + archon is a bit short depending on dps so probably have to use prismatic.

Most importantly just to really compare chars.

What do you recommend me to change next? to improve my dps?

Thanks man.

EDIT: I noticed that my armor is like 3500 without the energy armor. Isn't that super low for me to tank couple hits?

Yo, guys, does anyone have like high-endish cm wizzard? I got one that does 55k dps with shield, I want to have a look at really realy good cm wizzard and see what stats should I achieve (primarily ais and all res). Also interested if someone used that storm armor last rune on a cm wizzard and how it proc's crits and everything.
