I hated the beginning, it was low quality animation, the cheap 2d-images with effects that people whip up for quick commercial uses, not largescale products. It was cheap and looked like it
I hated the middle, it was poorly scripted and had bad acting and voice actors. "You believe me, don't you?". from Cain? Guy sounds less into his role than Richard Simmons stapled to Ozzy Ozbourne
I hated the ending- it was cheesy, predictable and had no cleverness or plot twists or any of that. In D2, you find out your Tyrael was really Baal all along. In D3, you basically get a trophy that says "YOU'RE WINNER"
I especially detested the segments that tied them together- a blank ink drawing (not even a good one) with Tyrael narrating over it, without a good script. Talk about cheap?
And all the camera does is slowly zoom in on that single image, it doesn't even animate, and its not even the *good* Tyrael voice actor, its some shitty guy from Bones

Although the voice actors seemed fine to me.

Eh, listen to Tyrael on this clip, then go back and listen to him chewing out Marius for pulling out the soulstone in Act 3, or pretty much anything else in D2

Yep, very upset about it myself.

Tyreal's voice is crap, expected something more epic for such a bad ass character.

Ed was a very tough act to follow, he did a perfect job on Tyrael in D2, and Marius was a perfect job as well
And then in D3, everyone seems to suck at their job somehow, its bizarre. Even deckard cain played by the same guy sounds wretchedly awful, because hes got lines like "You believe me, don't you?"

I'd say Imperius was the character with the best job done behind it, and really he only had a few lines total.

d3 gameplay is gonna be awesome coz they spent most time on that instead of lame cinematics
