There is also another "dark", and lets say "depressing" point I will debate.
All those farm sites and places who sell MMO gold, items, leveling services, accounts or what have you( especially the diablo 2 sites), have been in full force since well..... any game has come out that can make profit off it.
I wonder if Blizzard is actually FOR those sites?
Example 1: Little Jimmy is 14 and has to much school, homework, and other junk to do. He begs his parents to throw there credit card @ one of the farm sites for some items. BOOM- 10 minutes later he has a perfect character with perfect gear.(Depending on money spent)
Example 2: Random person age xx is horible @ video games but still loves to play them. Goes to farm site xx and BOOM same thing-- hours of playtime, trading done in minutes.
Example 3: If say some of these people cant get those "UBER" items, or there character to the point they want it to an extent to have fun... do you honestly think there still gona play that game?? Fuck no!!!!!!
Example 4: To elaborate on ex: 3, Blizzard has to be making money off these sites, because its KEEPING people playing there game..... They get what they want....
CONCLUSION: Ask yourself, in the end is a company really trying to make a game better? Or just trying to keep the $$$$$ flowing-------- Answer: $$$$$$$$$$.
Yes, this is contradicting my original post somewhat, but still it makes me wonder. Kinda like say a company finds a cure for cancer in a one hit pill tablet. They DONT WANT THAT. They turn it into a lifelong therapy treatment to milk the mother fucking cow dry.
Sad, just sad.
