Need advice on a question that grinds my gears for some time now.
It concerns the sentry breakpoints on my M6 DH.

Refering to the sentry breakpoint chart below and the Pet APS formula provided in the Bnet forums, my Dh's Pet Damage with TNT is 2,8608 (thus I am reaching the 2nd last breakpoint)
My Char Aps displayed is 1,92.

Pet APS Formula:

Pet APS = Character APS * (1 + (Tasker and Theo Bonus / 100))

Sentry Breakpoints:

Now my first question is can someone please confirm if I calculated the Pet APS the right way?
Second question is: Ofc I want to reach the last breakpoint, but at the same way I'm wondering how to achieve this, since I don't know what I could basically change on my gear to reach the last breakpoint. Is the last breakpoint even useful to have?

Helltraper/Meti quiver @ 4.15bp = Yay for 40+ GRs
Uskang/'normal' stuff = Nay. It's fun and decent, still more than enough for t6 etc. but it can't compete with pure fire for group play or frostfire solo.
Cluster/Impale/Ele does the job.


1.92(your aps) * 1.49(49%TnT) = 2.861. 2.861 > 2.842.
2.842 2h xbow or 4.15 1h xbow is great, if you can get there without giving up too many other stats.
