I agree with him 100% that if u have admitted defeat against orvars WD than there is no possible way u could even come close to killing kom's. You also said u dont duel him because hes to hard to beat, maybe thats the problem, ive lost to wulf and kom's WD's each about 70+ times, easily, and i still keep dueling them... how else do u think u will learn to counter there skillset... -.-

honestly this comment might piss off some of the d2 guys (i still play d2) but there is ACTUALLY a measure of skill involved in d3 pvp, if u miss a CD timing or mis position against a WD, u will lose. If u expect to run at eachother and press all your buttons and win maybe you need to expand your thought process as far dueling in d3 goes. Most duels at high levels of gear at level 30 are decided by who uses there defensive cooldowns better, just because WD's have a little more lee-way on there cd usage and other classes must time there cds perfectly to win, dosnt mean we should take away hex, it means other classes need to get better at playing the game to beat wds. Im sorry but nerfing hex is def not the answer. Esp before we have even met on the PTR, imagine if the ptr launches and the NA guys come over and smoke orvars WD... how silly would u feel pushing a hex nerf then? I would honestly rather wait till we can test against eachother before we nerf any active abilties, Wds already have restriction on 1 cc at a time. That is fair.

Also, I've never said I don't duel his WD, I said most people don't want to duel him and it's all about the community. If most people on EU community feel bad about WD's hex then i feel it warrants discussion. Also I have nothing against u standing up for the class. I simply wanted to end the discussion when you called wizards bad because I realised then how different our viewpoints about LLD are and that no discussion would have a fruitful outcome. On EU I have a very geared wizard and honestly I feel nothing about what you said about wizard is true. So ya, feels like discussion about this is pointless. Also, I never asked to ban it RIGHT NOW on the spot. I wanted to vote on it or at least have a discussion about. Ofcourse testing among both realms needs to happen (on ptr would be nice) before we can make a decision. You are pulling things way out of context. If you guys have better geared characters than Orvar and you smoke him than i would first advocate that to better gear. Switch out to some worse gear so you are on par with Orvar's gear and then if you still smoke him 10-0 then you are right about not banning hex. Ofcourse this test would need to occur vs a multitude of US guys cuz one US guy doesn't represent the outcome of all US duels vs EU guys.

If I'd use 4x 5% as items I'd get above 2k dps really easy. Secondly, you'll also notice I don't use glass canon which would boost my dps to above his. This wizard is actually extremely durable and has very high dps. You can ask orvar and he will testiment to that.
The gear difference aside from the rings is pretty much non existant if u compare piece by piece.

having good gear at lvl 30 is NOT about dual wielding credit cards like at 60.

TBH, the way I am raised is that no matter how good you are at something or how much work you put in to get you there still does not give you the right to go around behaving like an arragont selfloving jackass.

What happened to treating eachother in a normal way? I have been polite the entire time save for the few times you people were offensive to me and I felt I had to respond. I've tried setting up a nice discussion only to get flamed. I must have been mistaken to think that the LLD community was different from your average JSP ranter.

I would prefer it that both of you behave in a normal and mature way from now on and discuss manners in a way that would promote constructiveness rather than bitching about like 5 year olds.

We are competitive, which promotes continuous improvement on both sides.

Someone joins a game for duels and gets absolutely slammed? All you would really hear from us is why they got slammed. such as "look for avg dmg on rings, or not enough XX stat"

Hell we go as far as buying upgrades the other person needs form AH if they aren't on to get them.

Until you play with us on our server don't you sit on your high horse judging us. It makes you look nothing more than a common fool.


The rest of our realm enjoys our company and I can't seem to understand why you have such a problem. but judging by the community response as a whole, it's not so much on our side of the table.




Pretty much our only downfall is that Ironside is canadian.
