idk, i think nerfing EP might be a mistake.

its pretty well discerned that % life effects are the only truly viable high tier for greater rifts. taking that away seriously hampers a monks effectiveness.

The Shatter monk was way too OP for GR. We were like on the top of all the leaderboards surpassing other classes by a huge amount.

It is necessary. Just hope that Bliz will buff other skills with the tweak on EP.

noob question from a kinda new monk: does % lightning dmg on items affects the special effect from 1k storms set? and % physical dmg on EP?

Yeah wasn't other classes like 33-37 and monk was like 54

I believe the set was fixed and lightning is effecting it. And yes phys works for EP

Nobody knows whats going to happen with EP or other skills. Everything is totally preliminary at this point. It may be safe to say no need to stack phys% and aoe dmg but who knows. Most likely some other skills will receive enough of a buff that we will be creating new builds based on stuff that doesnt' exist yet as the new monk endgame.
