I feel pretty comfortable with this build and these items on mp10, you can do the maths. More = better in most cases, but you shouldn't neglect the EHP, since mp10 is challenging.

If anyone has comments, upgrade suggestions, links to upgrade items, or questions about either my HC or SC monk (HC monk is capable of farming MP5 - 6 easily, while my SC monk can tank any elite affix combination on MP10, with decent kill speed.)

Although S&B is very common in HC, it's a relatively overlooked feature in SC due to the way the game has evolved through patches.. (Nerf of damage, MP levels, etc.) I've stayed true to my S&B nature since pre-1.03 (although I have a 2nd ls weapon for dual wielding, if I ever need a boost of sustain) and I plan on continuing that route, always. I have a near-OCD obsession with high mitigation.

I have a question about TR Monks. Are TR Monks primarily just built to do Paragon Runs on lower MP levels or are they worth looking into in the High End spectrum?

Any other build that I use I can play up to MP 4 or 5 but with this build I die to elite packs on MP1 but I farm Paragons alot faster. :s

Returned after some months of time off and I would apreciate some help regarding my gear / build.

My goal is to farm at act1 mp10 both in group and solo to obtain some paragon levels. I just sold my EF, really think it sucked due to the fear procc. Feelt like i wasted alot of time chasing after elites and loosing crowd control.

At the moment I got about 1b to spend. Obviously Im about to replace the nat ring (havent found a decent with cold res yet) and get a new weapon, instead of EF. But I dont know what weapon to get.

Should I go for a wkl, if so should I go for LS? Or is my EHP solid enought to add more chrit? Or should I obtain a rare with highest possibily dps or with Ls? And are there any good new builds to farm mp10?

Yes, you should stick to WKL, and yes, you need double life steal to survive on mp10. You can never have enough EHP to cope with nasty elite packs without double life steal. If you're looking for more dps, try the triple gen build, replacing fleet footed with combination strike. Or just look for kim monk thread in this forum section

i use a skorn to my monk, but i see all of u on this forum use dual, is it better dual ?

cus my DPs looks better with skorn and the second weap add 10AS only or is diffrent from WW barbs ???
