Gentlemen, I am ready to join the conversation. I'm trying to get a fire monk going, using fire res as my OWE stat. I'm in the beginning stages as I just decided to go for this yesterday, but so far I've been able to get a couple of key items.

Right now I'm just spamming LTK and using WothF when im out of spirit, running T1 rifts and praying to any deity that will listen to grant me a cindercoat from Kadala, but so far no luck. Do you guys see any glaring holes where I should be focusing my gambles?

If your going to go fire get the helm that lets you cast 2x LTK for one. It throws out a fireball that can crit for as high as normal LTK. I was running it on my monk for a little bit its nice to see 8m+8m crits

Okay so after my short amount of testing I'm bailing on FoT again.

Went back to way of the hundred fists.

Also managed to get a decent reapers wraps that's only missing my stacked res so I'm up to 46% light damage.

I have a SOJ I'm trying to roll lightning on also, 11 rolls, no luck.

I feel your pain. Got a sunkeeper last night on my barb and after 10 rolls and no socket I ragequit and played wiz.

Got the Reaper's bracer. Took me 2 crafts total and 5 rerolling for 6% CC.

I love it. I personally think reaper's bracer is one of the best bracer choices for monks. Gives me so much more spirit per game with it. And I was hoping for either Fire Dmg (LTK) or Holy Dmg (SSS), I'm so happy that it rolled Holy. Done with my bracer slot.

More spirit = more edps = more survivability

Have been doing A1 cache run to get that shoulder. Finally got one after +/-20 cache runs over 4 days. (didn't have much time to play..)

Too bad it didn't roll the props that i need. Gonna do more A1 cache to try to get another with dex/vit/cdr/sss dmg/globe bonus/lightning res.

One more thing would be Trancendance passive itself without lots of globe bonus isn't that great. I would take some other passive. Just a suggestion!

Upgraded a few things. Got reapers like him ^ . Only issue is mine rolled the wrong base res. Ill work on more when I have more souls.

So I'm having an issue right now. I'm trying to roll 20% lightning damage on my soj (currently it's 6% crit chance). Wearing the soj I'm at 52.2% crit chance and 546% crit damage. The loss of crit chance is definitely made up for in the % lightning damage?

Or should I leave it till I find another soj that I can roll another stat and have both. I've had such bad luck lately that something good must be coming.

The 20% light will vastly outshine the 6% crit.
