To make it work you just need very good gear and high dps, so locust, with knife+offhand is powerful to kill trash really fast even at mp3 for example. Having relatively fast attack speed with bears also helps, then they don't feel awkward and slow, gameplay is really smooth and fast, wave of bears on top of locust swarm, and you just sprint forward.
This build also can work with just 2 items with pickup range, since you kill most thing in melee range, and stuff that you leave behind to die to locust, would be out of your pickup range anyways.

hey guys how would u do this in hardcore? im about to hit 60 and got thing and mace 11xx dps + LS, some zuni parts and innas pants + ms boots.

Was thinking jungle fort instead of gruesome and skip acid rain place ghost bomb or leaping spiders, gargantuan replaced by absorb dogs and lots of life regen from gear.

with ll and enought dps or loh you won´t need lps... garguanta can be replaced by any spell you want; probably mass confusion if you play hc. Acid rain can only be replaced by ghost bomb with AoE effect, coz you´ll need a good aoe. Better try with Acid rain and go for mp0. Don´t switch jungle fortitude for gruesome. With enough damage / on mp0 you will be able to keep up spirit walk almost all the time.

Btw: THIS BIULD ROCKZ SO FUCKING HARD!

yeah but i allready lost a character at disconnection and thats ze biggest fear. was dh 50+k life 500+ all res. With jungle + absorb dogs its like 25 % more DR instead of dmg, and loh/ll dont help if u stand still^^ maybe we are thinking different, anyway wish me luck
