Trying to make a tanky barb who does not need to ktie much but if so be I will. I just love the weapon throw build for massive damage when I play with my monk friend who uses sweeping wind and I use bloodshead.
I would look at upgading your jewelry pieces. Especially your amulet in order to incorporate that crit chance. Crit chance is just as important for wep throw as it is for ww/nado barb cause of that passive (no escape) which gives u huge fury benefits whenever u crit so than u can continue to use wep through. Also, your jewelry should get some weapon dmg on them. Given that Weapon throw gives dmg based on your base weapons dmg, that stat is pretty much the best stat u can get on a ring. By not having it, ur losing out on a lot of dps. This will give u a great way to increase ur dps without losing much if any EHP. Blackthornes could be a way to go but im not sure you really need to. ur pants are pretty solid. Stick to the upgrades i mentioned and you mite wanna consider getting some movement speed. Since ur not gonna change ur boots, this can be done through lacunis + innas pants. If u pick a pair of str/vit combo on innas with about 140-150 stats, u also get the APS which would be relaly good for ur barb.

Reason why ur having problems is cause ur attack speed is way too slow. Not only do u have a mace in ur offhand (slowest wep possible), you dont hve any ASI gear. Attack speed is so crucial for nado/ww especially cause of patch nerfs. Not going to into to detail cause ive explained this many times in this thread already but basically, get more attack speed, get a better OH (dagger/sword) with str/OS/Lifesteal/Crit dmg

Lifesteal has always been superior to LOH for higher dps barbs (100k+ unbuffed). Would def recommend it if ur barb fits that criteria. Also, LS scales with ur dmg whereas Loh does not. A good mix of LOH + lifesteal is not bad though in dealing with reflect mobs.

YEs u can 2h ww barb. Ppl don't do it often cause as i mentioned, attack speed is so important and by using a 2h, ur already at a disadvantage. To make 2h ww work, u need to stack ASI prety much on every piece of gear u can.

U need to sell both of those and upgade to better pieces. Would recommend IK chest and for pants, one with 180+ base vit, str, 2 sockets, and 70+ all res with armor bonus if u can find it. Then swap out ur bracers for lacunis with str/vit/all res or str/crit/allres if u can affod it.

Also recently found a blackthorns amulet. Considering picking up the boots and running with 3 piece leg/boot/amulet for the benefits. And thoughts on that?
Get a faster OH with lower dps and more stats and crit dmg + lifesteal. Blackthornes boots are terrible, not worth it for 3 set bonus. Pants + ammy is enuff. If anything, you would use blackthornes armor for the 3 set bonus. If ur interested, i specialize in gearing services you can refer to my build a barb thread:
