I personally also wouldnt want the guild wars approach either,...... coming out with an expansion every time someone cries so they can support there non paying game.

If Diablo 3 is not pay to play, I give it a few months before it turns into the shit hole that d2 did.

Opinions? Flames? Donations :) ?


I thinks its funny because you have to pay to play wow yet there are cheaters hacks bots gold farmers viruses so what makes this a valid point ?

you exactly right best example take WoW...

it's a pay to play server and it's full of fucking hacker's n cheater's paying wound change any thing, take d2 for example we dint pay and it turned out to be a great sucess. my opinion we shound pay. mabey it would simply be beter off paying caus it would keep tho'se noobs away :P

They have enough money anywayz so no need to pay. I have never payd to play a game online, and i will never pay. Music games movies programms no matter. Everything is free for me :D MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I think your opinion is good to be there in the discussion you know.. but I doubt Blizzard will ever make d3 a pay-to-play game... that would take away most players from the online-gaming, but ofcourse, it would also keep servers updated and much more available due to blizzard gets the cash from the players and not just from the sales of the game itself. If you look at WoW that is a proof-of-concept that a game could get good status but the hardcore diablo-fans surely would leave the scene if it gets anything wow-like, like payment-wise or silly character customization instead of a hack-n-slash online rpg. The hacks and cheats will always be there, people always strive to make them whatever upgrade warden gets.

To be honest and sum this up; your idea could work but only for a minor group of the diablo-fans who also plays wow, but the rest stays with d2 or just leaves for other games.

As you can see in this reply from me, I didnt say it would be cheat hacker free people..... It would be a better streamlined game imo IF it was though........

Also, people sayin " I wont by it if its P2P or not my type of game" This is a utter joke. This game has been in anticipation since the original diablo 1 came out, and everyone says that type of stuf to think there geting to someone at Blizzard so they will make the game how they want it?

Hmmmm, If I say I wont buy game x because of this.. maybe the company executive will read this then think twice about it......... lol.....

I bet everyone who says they wont buy it for whatever reason, will be the first moron waiting in a tent outside a game stop the week its released.................
