Josh, could you please provide some relevant reason as to why Diablo 3 would benefit by being P2P, instead of spouting nonsense about bots and how Blizzard getting richer will prevent them? Also, a supposed increase in popularity and/or WoW's successes don't count.

I hate to point people out but this whole post is dumb. Diablo was built for people that don't spend alot on playing games. When bliz first started they never asked for any of their games to be p2p. The only game that was made for that was WOW so please take that wow crap somewhere else.Second making it p2p has nothing to do with bots scammers hacks etc, all of that boils down to the way the game is made and programed if they implement more safety measures against bots and such making it P2P wont make a difference duh! Also Diablo came out in 1999 buddy almost 2000 don't exaggerate, alot of games are still free till this day. Diablo 2 is free and they are still releasing patches and reseting ladder and working on server so i think this whole post is retarded d3 will not be pay to play and I am glad it wont because if it is I wont buy it b/c it will break the Diablo tradition.I agree D2 is not perfect but making it p2p will not solve problems it makes them bigger, ppl are going to scam no matter what i see it all the time in F2P games so please don't post this retarded topic ever again. idk what was discussed over the last 120 pages because i have a life, the only money i spend on computer games is my electricity bill and a 1 payment fee. i dont look through 120 pages of pointless posts, unlike you replying to every post. do you really think blizzard will consider d3 to be p2p? i can make you a list of obvious reasons why it would be f2p; that is unless they limit characters. d3 will not be p2p. argue less "troll"

It wont be P2p because D2 and D1 was not p2p, when they do a production they COULD make it p2p but they have contracts already for D2 and D1 and its technically an UPDATE of D2 L.O.D. So it cannot be P2P
