I have a monk on tempest rush with 190k dps and I wish to find a party of monks to do Vota runs on mp8+

anyone intersted? (it will happen only with 4 ppl party)

Hello dear monks
While I was slowly building and upgrading my monk, I was using advices from this thread. It was really helpfull and with many detailed explanation about gear combinations and some hidden skill mechanics. Im pretty sure there ain’t thread for monks like this on other forums.

Thx Jinshin, I never used Dashing Strike, gonna try it.

Why you avoid Breath of Heaven, it gives really huge dps boost, almost 30k dmg ?

Oh, I'm not avoiding it. It's a good skill for some situation. But for party games, mobility is the key.

Just try Dashing!

You can get out of Jail with it too.

So guys I just went extremly lucky today on my farming, i have now 1071m to gear a monk ! (I alrdy have gems x7(rs))

Here what im planning to do, lmk if anything wrong !

Inna's helm : 180dex/80vita/all res/socket/5,5cc ~ 50m max

Shoulders : alrdy have nice crafted : 278dex/148vif/77ar some fr and ofher rando mod

Amulet : dex/vit/ias/8cc/60chd ~ idk how much i have to spend

Innas chest : 180dex/high vit(as much as i can get)/ar ~ 50m ?

Bracers : epic crafted too : 217dex/41vit/50arcane res/71ar/6cc have them ofc

Gloves : dex/vit/ias/8cc/30chd ~ 70m

Wh - dex/vit/ar ~ 70m

Rings : nats with cc dex vit ~70m

Rare with dex/vit/ias/cc/cd 70m

Innas temp : 90dex/170vit 60m

Nats boots : 200dex/70vit/ar ~ 70 m ?

Weps :

Around 100-150m each

Rare sword : chd/ls/os/dex/150dex

Wkl : ls/os/23%light +

So after just coming back to D3 for the first time since before paragon levels or MP... Needless to say my monk ( http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Kral-1314/hero/677823 ) was build to tank and is far and away different from what seems to be the standard build now. Basically I have around 700-800m gold to spend thanks to a friend to get my monk back into shape. Mainly what I am trying to find out are the suggested skills and upgrades to start with asap. Figured I have too much ehp. Was thinking about swapping out my Litany, but I like it too much to drop that.
