Range? 24 nova, instant cast.
Bears have slight delay before they come out of the ground and hit.

But main hit is range, you can't one shot entire screen, 100% of mobs with one cast of bears (3 bears).

I was doing many runs with bers as primary skill, and once my gear got good enough that acid rain kills in one hit, i find it much more effective at killing trash. Runs are just faster.

It might be because your dps comes from ias? I use 700-1200 base damage spear,and hits are much harder (300k crits from acid rain). Also a lot depends on gruesome feast, you are supposed to run fast between packs, and keep that 50% inteligence bonus. 25% movement gear + horrify stalker + spirit walk all the time.

It uses same idea, guy has faster weapon , so he just spams avcid rain few times, but overall it is just faster than bears at clearing trash due to superior range and 100% coverage of area. Imo this is best way to grind exp.

I also do not like depending on globes for damage, but in the end its all personal preference. I like my bears better because they hit much harder for elite packs. Ya AC will clear white trash faster, but falls behind on elite packs. My bears hitting for 700-950k melt elite packs very quickly, and then for trash i just round up rooms full to mow them down.

Well obviously not acid cloud vs elites, too weak.
Mass confusion paranoia, and 2-3s of bears all elites melt. In My case they crit for like 1.2m then (soj and increased damage from mass confusion helps).


Btw, in new patch with new cc rules (now it lasts full duration at first cast and elites earn resistance to crowd control for certain amount of time).
Point is, mass confusion lasts full 12 seconds vs elites now, this seems to have pretty good potential vs mp10. You can brind that cooldown down to 15 seconds (passive, proper rune and last breath unique knife).

lol. at 100 k+ dps , who cares what skill /passives you use,just mastery of gear , but can you get your builds to work at 30 k dps ,lol

except with bears u can cast and run past mobs. acid for some reason makes u more standstill since u have to wait for it to hit,a nd if it doesn't crit u have to wait for ticks or just hope it finishes. And the mobs will still be in your face if u need the tick.

he does have a stream but i don't see his previous videos. u hit 300k? can u link me ur profile ae?? Also the dennis guy has very nice hp and surviability a good balance for sure. I went more glassy dps.

also in the video he only is critting for 150k with acid. so idk how he's "1 shotting" but im sure he's casting 2x per mob area. i'll have to try acid cloud again my radius prob not enough only like 20 from totd.

and it seems like he casts very fast for me it seems like i cast slower. i'm at 1.9 ais. my weapon also 1.4 ais.

Funny. Personally I always felt that Acid Rain takes painstakingly long to cast.
