Diablo 3 has every potential to overtake WOW. Even though its from the same company, how many sales did they have from the original diablo 2 and LOD? Like 3-7 mil? That was over a decade ago.

Granted WOW is WOW, but then again alot of people hate it.

And more people love it.
And those who claim to hate it are probably just trying to hop in and join the crowd when secretly they play it themselves.

Honestly, if D3 ends up being pay-to-play then I probably won't play. I don't have very high hopes for D3 anyway, and even $10/month isn't worth it to me. I understand the P2P argument obviously, but personally I'll pass.

I have tried it, I've watched my friends play it, and I've watching my brother play it.
My brother and I both think it's a waste of money.

The diablo franchise games are based on quality not quantity. The stories are epic, soloing, going to nightmare, and hell, hardcore, ladder, non-ladder, public spanking, the community. It's all completely different than wow. I don't see them making it p2p hasn't it been debunked anyways? Anyways, diablo stories end, wow doesnt. It wont be p2p if it is fuck Blizzard.
