I see alot of monks with only 2.5-3% LS, and maybe unity with that +250 loh. They all have 280-320k dps, and never seem to die.

Im going to reach 250k dps myself, and later 300+ once I have crafted some proper gear ( zero account bound items atm, all crap from AH )
with 45-50k life and 550@, is it easy to survive with only one LS weapon ?

You can survive, but its abit sketchy at time. I personally use double ls

Find a diabo wit skorn like stats but with 2.xx spirit regen on top
So cd, socket, 5.xx-6 LS, dex and 2.xx spirit regen. That be the diabo you would want for a pimp kane monk lols

It needs to have ATLEAST 23%/6% , socket & life steal.

Budget? 250 mil. Softcore europe.

Anyone got something like this for sale?

My stats were:
305K dmg
56k life
5300 armour
600 all res
640k ehp (d3up) and 1.2M (d-progress)
91% damage reduction
With OWE, 750 all res ... but I don't play with OWE & no serenity

I can farm mp10 with single LS weapon, but only with non-reflects
With my high dmg, ehp and mitigation ...
I cannot facetank elites with reflect / health-link, arcane ground effects (desecrator, poison etc...)
I can kite them ... but not facetank.

So, it is not possible to facetank refects & nasty affixes with single LS weapon.

Unless someone can prove me wrong (without OWE & Serenity)
You can survive with one LS weapon ... but kiting or weapopn swap will be needed for nasty elites.

could monk with WKL+ rare fist wep with ls, dex, crit etc would be viable?(i wont be running like mp8-9-10) from mp3 till mp6 etc or axe is dagger more important( id like 2 claws since i hate using swords, daggers and axes on these kind of chars)

I fully agree with you dude. I'm a SnB monk with 200k DPS/1M EHP. Currently just toying around in mp9 for faster clear time. With single LS, I can't facetank nasty elites affixes for long. The sustain is just not enough.

A support life sustain such as LoH might help. I need to somehow fit those in my setup, but its going to be hard.

Anyone would like to give suggestion on my item/skill setup? I opted to use combination strike to buff my damage so that 3LS is sufficient to sustain me.

Wow ... is all I can say about your monk. Very nicely done.
If you cannot face tank reflects with one LS ... nobody can.
I don't think LoH will help, due to cyclones do not proc LoH.
You obviously tried dual wield. Shield is not needed in SC.
I don't SnB ... May start one in HC though.

I spent 50m into that WKL i´m wielding, 100m left for another upgrade. Better nat boots + ring will be the best to upgrade? (650 AR with OWE right now)
Also though about changing the EF for an LS one or a rare +1.40as +1000dps +dex +cd + os but changing the EF will drop my HP to 46k.

Any suggestions sup monks?
