oh well it sounds a bit messed up but some people have been banned and I guess the rest will have to normalise over time with gold sinks and what have you

I don't think ias helps with monk dps more than any other stat, I'm pretty sure the periodic lightning from cyclone doesn't depend on your attack speed and the damage comes from weapon damage, so although a faster weapon makes more nados they each do less damage? so no bonus, and ias on gear gives the same bonus as and other damage increase (+10% total attack speed / +10% tornados) and less than crit which gets massive double buff (ie 50-55% crit = 10% more nados x normal crit increase (probably bigger than 5%)
