is knockback, freeze etc. affected by proc rates of skills? bears has a pretty shitty proc rate so it may not work too well.

yeah but in many of the popular famring areas, you have walls. and pushing elites non stop against walls means 0 damage taken. you can get knockback on many rare peices, which could amount to a decent amount of KB.
like i said, just a though, you could test the KB effect with a windforce i imagine to see how it works in situations.then look for rare gear that happens to have the KB stat on them. would be exceptionally expensive, but wouldnt be a bad thing to look into.

1. ZB has a horrible proc coefficient
2. Map should never be a problem unless you're doing something wrong or farming Belial for some reason

Bears don't proc cc abilities. I have 23 paragon levels of testing with my 4.5% chance strongarms.

Ok got to test wd at ptr, monster power 10 in act 3. It is going quite ok actually, compared to other classes. Combo of 45% dr from skills, we are taking very little damage.
Spamming bears for one minute can take down a 60m hp demonic tremor boss quite easily.
Key boss was kind of annoying with his freeze, but only that, he is doing low damage, just some patience doging his freezing attacks and chasing him.
I think wd will be one of the best classes to fight high monster power setting, due to best aoe dps skill in the game - zombie bears.





Also as expected, gruesome feast and grave injustice absolutely don't work at this difficulty.

either keep the same damage, add HP and AR and use LoH with acid cloud/rain of toads (tank WD), or add a bit of HP/AR (35k/500AR) and go for more DPS with bears LS. I farm a3 with a 5.4 LS skorn at 45k unbuffed dps, gravefeast bears/pets build, 500 AR, 36k hp. I die 0-3 times a run, less if I'm soloing.

LoH sucks with bears. Gear for LS if you're doing darts/bears.

Any are OK, but I like templar or enchantress because they're better at meatshielding. Enchantress can use maximus for the demon, and templar can be a beast with vit/%block gear. Personally I like templar when I'm MFing and enchantress when I'm going for pure dps. I haven't used scoundrel since leveling but cold bow for snares and +crit could be handy for some builds.

imo best crowd control is scoundrel with windforce and cold damage soj (or other item with +x% coold damage). His multishot kb everything, elites bounce their attacksa are interrupted, he also snares everything with his aoe (cold damage added to attack).

movement speed is crucial here, guy relies on gruesome feast entirely, otherwise hit dps would be too low to one shot stuff with acid rain
