You do realize that some affixes are Str *and* Vit in a single affix, right?

Also, as I said, they're only describing the unidentified item, nothing more.

I said that in the exact post you quoted, so yes I realize it

No. The stats linked in there are basically pointing to a "stat ID" and a "value range" for the stat. Some stats don't have ranges at all, some do. (On weapons, there's min/max damage, and attacks per second) Then you also have the required level, item level, and "generic" rarity (for the sake of argument Rare4/Legendary qualities). Then on top of that, you have another field that tells what actual *type* of item it is (Axe, bow, shield, armor, cloak, etc)

The number of fields in the item link string are really irrelevant, as they're "enough to show the item as a tooltip" and a few fluff items (such as the -1 placeholders for stuff like shields, etc which have block% on top of their normal armor value stuff, and weapons in general)

@fyyer; there's 11 rarities.

Inferior, Normal, Superior, Magic1, Magic2, Magic3, Rare4, Rare5, Rare6, Legendary, and "Special". The # after the name corresponds to how many affixes it has. (No idea what "Special" is, I haven't seen an item with it yet)

But wouldn't that mean that every Heaven Hand should have the same number of fields (they all have a dps, a min dmg, a max dmg, etc)? But in this example from him, you can see that some Heaven Hands have more fields than others. The bolded fields are the ones that are different and seem, from what I've IDd in-game as well, to indicate the number of property rolls the items have (unid there are only 2 codes that change once IDd).

i think that one of these indicates a socket:
1176553157,1055553278

tried it on 2 unids, both rolled with a socket

Not to exploit the game, but I enjoy puzzles and statistics and am curious if I can make anything of these numbers. If you have several ID please pm me:

Lvl item, type item, code pre id, code after id (include stats)

Thanks! Wanting a LARGE sample size. Please lvl 60+ items only

I have chose to stick with items 60-63 for simplicity, I would be open to doing other levels but all I need is consistency, I am open to recommendations

Yeah, sorry. Reading a lot of replies really quickly. My apologies!

I edited the post with a better explanation of how the item linking works. (http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=63840602&f=68&p=426237198)

seems reasonable. im getting exact or very close correlation so far on all my unids though (in terms of 4, 5, or 6 properties)

wonder what will happen to the price of unids?..

Nothing..people will gamble regardless, if this had any relevance at all to determining if an unid'd item was worth anything more then what you can get unid'd I am pretty sure one of those websites that supports exploiting and cheating would of had this one down and posted after launch, again this is nothing new and has been going on since Day 1..nothing is consistent enough to determine anything special about the unid'd item, its nothing more then an annoyance

Wonder how long this rumor will last ? about the same as Session ID spoofing I assume

There will be slight variance since some affixes have multiple attributes which could explain your extra socket (one item code affix might = +24 str +13 vit for example), but in general it's pretty clear what we have here.
