Why does my D3 lag slightly,I got very good pc, why

Intel core i3 2100,8 GB ram, Geforce GT 430 , 1 TB HD space, Running the game on 1920x1080 resolution with High setting.

What needs to be changed? if I bought a Geforce GTX 550 TI would this enable me to run the game at this Resolution very smoothly?

I also heard that 1920x1080 Resolution isn't fully supported or fixed yet thats why i'm lagging thats what my mate said.
