Ah, I see. My bad. 90mil can land you something like +800dps/+22%lighting bonus/+2.7%lifesteal/socket. That should be pretty good.

The reason why your skill build isn't very effective is that your aps won't generate enough spirit in fights to spam overawe/palm/bell all at the same time.

You should try dropping the bell for Blinding flash with faith rune and take beacon of ytar instead of NDE passive to maximize the edps for the run.

When you are in the fights, you refresh blazing fist stack every couple second as well as overawe bonus. Monks have high edps because of all these dmg buff/bonuses. Gotta keep those up all time in fights.

Jin, you prefer palm over bell.
I have read Invis's speed palm guide a few times now.
The play style with palm alone for me so far has been a struggle.
I like them both for obvious reasons.
Palm = awesome kill power on high mps when they blow up.
Bell = awesome aoe power whenever needed and life regen

I am trying to incorporate them both into my build.
But spirit management is tough with both.

I am leaning more towards bells atm.
Gonna try more palm and see how it goes.
I just like the burst power & life regen too much to let it go.

There must be reasons why Invis, you and other monks use palm so well.
Maybe I need to watch his video to see exactly how to play it.
When I run into reflect packs with palm, I feel handicapped, cuz I'll kill myself.
Maybe palm and I just don't jive.

You know, you can kinda use both if you run quickening instead of tclap. I tried it before, it works alright but I hate not using tclap.

It makes perfect sense for slow Skorn/tr/bell set up since you have less chance to get the life back, but for highly geared DW monks, it really doesn't need it. Cyclones/FoT give us back more than enough life for most instances.

And the point of speed palm build is to focus fire on single target mob to do the aoe dmg. You kill 1 to dmg others around it. That's why INVIS use Blinding over other skills since blinding gives us the best burst dmg for singe target.

On the other hand, Bell is all about burst aoe dmg. It kinda doesn't make sense to incorporate both skills into one build since both contradicts themselves.

We need the mobs to be as close to each other as possible to fully take advantage of the palm aoe dmg, but Bell knockbacks the mobs.

So I like using them in a separate build. I still do bell builds sometimes to have fun. It's more fun with bell, that's for sure. like dropping 10 wall of lights within 4 seconds. LOL

But jets, whatever works well on your monk is the best build for you!

I really like the concept of palm.
Palm, blind, beacon
FoT, WotHF, combo strike
Cyclones, overawe.
Let's see how it goes later.

Yeah man. It took me awhile to really figure it out. But once I got it down, I can't really play other builds. haha It's so fun to play.

And it's extremely good for party games too. Everyone wants cyclone strike + Palm monk to be in their mp10 farming groups. haha

Too many choices for monks now. And they all seem to work.
