ww barb wasnt untouched, they nerfed sprint proc in case you forgot, but players adapted.

Most wiz players whine because they are brainless at mathematics. Still lots of wizards playing mp10 fine, the smart ones that is.

for example yazuki ... 9 apoc, 1.8x aps, zero LOH, ofc you suffer when archon is off. All that dps but left out the core things that are really important. You seem like a rich player, you should be doing mp10 ez like zisss.

So enlighten us as to what exactly works so well now, if you're so sure that wiz is fine. Cause I can't seem to find anything that works Even half es Good as in 1.04

zisss had meteor with ice dmg rune instead of SC, he did mp10 ez but he had high aps, 27 apoc, and good LOH / 50+ crit

and in case you missed my point, its not the actual build you guys are missing, its the important things like LOH, apoc, crit chance, ias benchmarks.

They nerfed a proc rate ... say by half ... you double your loh (you can get so much more than just a 1000 or less), you increase some ias, you get more apoc and crit chance (not double obviously, but makes a difference).

You ppl seem to give up easily, of all the 5 classes in the community everytime a nerf is announced its the wizards that give up instantly.

Plus theres lots of things to try, Storm armor, living lightning + prodigy, paralysis, astral presence, meteor runes, slow time, magic weapon etc

Archon on high mp levels is fucking retarded, you cant kill shit fast enough with even 300k dps.




they nerfed sprint by 60%, its the most fury intensive skill. point is players adapted. IAS + crit chance + lifesteal. Wizards jst QQ

Good aps, 50+ crit, Lots loh and Apoc is expensive as fuck. So basically you're saying "get godly gear to Farm decently"?
I did 35 min Full A3 Runs with 65k dps, 32k hp, 500@all and 43 crit with 3 ll with Archon Build. Now i can't do Archon AT ALL, and with ww/cm, or any Meteor Build or Hydra i can do mp2. Thats my Point, The huge overnerf

Yeah I'm going to vote overnerf as well. I'm 45 crit chance, 874 LoH, speed bumped...15-20% or so, between 40-50k damage with resists around 800 and up, and I've tried meteor, cold, slow bubble, and of course archon - I'm ska-rewed so far. My gear is all no-name brand, but it's still giving me those stats.

The only thing I can still do is hydra/bliz, but it's slow and one vortex and I'm toast. Sure, I can run around objects and stay off screen for 5 minutes per pack...or play with barbs/monks/WD to distract them, but I cannot play past mid act 1 right now.

I spent my time on this char and while I've got 60 level chars of other classes, I'm tired of being toasted each time I find a build that is relaxing to play. Since my gear is more in the 3-10 mil range rather than the 10-300 mil range, it seems...I sell my activision stock and move on.

if you want super high dps and use only legendaries - sure. but if you be smart with your gear choices and prioritise stats and use rares where you can, wont be expensive as fuck.

(im not talking abt archon, normal cm builds here. Archon is kind of pointless at high mp now)

Barb is in the same boat now anyway ... you dont expect to roll in mp5-10 with cheap gear and super ez it do you? But if you are wise you can do mp1-4 ez

If you are having issues with cm wiz at lower than mp4 you are just bad I think. Lots off ppl posting alternative builds other than SC / WW as main attack, and if you get some more ias / apoc / crit it will work as before. Besides, if youre an archon wiz, youre in archon most of the time, that has not been nerfed.

Im in Archon maybe half The Time. The other half im wormholing around. But that was 1.04. now cm isn't Even Good AT resetting Tele cd, so Farm Speed is nerfed so Hard.

I run a budget CM wizard (I literally followed a budget CM build on YouTube) and I just run the "Alkaizer run" on MP1. ~30k dps, 2.08 aps, 38% cc with scoundrel, 29 APOC. Obviously it sucks to have such a budget build when you watch guys like Zisss play, but unless I hit the RMAH I'll never have a wiz like that, so I found what works for me and I'll keep playing.

By the end of this weekend, I'm sure a build will be ironed out. The patch hasn't even been out 24 hours and people are panicking.
