i would reccomend trying to get close to 5.5k def unbuffed, increase your life, increase your APS (at least 2.0)

your chest peice would probably be a good place to start upgrading, your rings could also be a good start.

if you can get some dex/vit/ias rings they should bring your APS to where it needs to be and give you more life.

your skill build looks fine to me.

if you could pick up another 50 or so res from a new chest peice(should be pretty easy), then you shouldnt lose to much from changing your ammy to an Ias/life on hit or just a ias/dex/vit

i have almost your exact stats except i do not use a shield, and i have 61k life. i faceroll all of inferno now with my gear. also the 1400 life on hit that i have acquired allows me to tank almost anything in the game

hmm, how does off hand work btw? I mean, If i get some 600dps offhand with 1000LoH, will it drop my dps? I have a 1100dps main hand with Ias

Agree - but I'm having trouble seeing the image clearly. Wouldn't he also benefit from a better % block? I mean assuming he doesn't have to forfeit too much in terms of mitigation. Those resists are really high.

Dual-wielding gives a flat 0.15 bonus to your attack speed. Your primary attacks (spirit generators) will alternate between main-hand and off-hand for damage and attack speed as opposed to it all being your main hand, though your spirit-spenders will still be based off your main hand. Which means that generally, unless you have two weapons very close to each other in DPS, and your offhand gives you significantly better stats (i.e. LoH, Dex, IAS), you're better off with a shield.**

** Or you could be "dodge-stacking" aka dex stacking and using the passive that gives you bonus dodge for DWing. But that's practically assumed when you roll DW.

higher block % would only help. but his shield is pretty good, giving him 116all res/17%/dex/good armor

if he changes his shield it is going to be expensive to find one that will give him more block without giving up a chunk of res/armor, and he needs to maintain his res and boost his armor.

Did they ninja nerf inferno? Because I just finished it all with relative ease while just a few days ago act3 felt impossible.

You may just have gotten better geared. Even incremental upgrades can make a huge difference sometimes.
