well highest dmg dealer is cold cluster (remember it takes +150% dmg from rockets passive as it shoots cold rockets) so I would stick with cold if I were u bro!

also frost arrow shoots the most out of the spenders

Question: I've seen lots of people who use on left tab frost arrow and on right tab cluster arrow.

how do they manage their hatred? when I tried using this combo I got out of hatred within a second.

Was it a DH wearing the full Marauder set by any chance? They only need 35 hatred every 4 seconds, roundabout.
The other possible solution would be a DH with Kridershot, as Ele Arrow now generates hatred.
For normal play w/o the Marauder 6pc bonus or Kridershot it would be a terrible idea.

let the sentries do the job

frost arrow can be shot once maybe to trigger the cull passive before the sentries does it

Someone did a huge calculation for all the possible scenarios and it's indeed the winner, damage wise.
The problem is that the item requirements are really high, stuff like gg Lacuni's, great TnT, WH etc.pp
Even with 50% tnt and 7%ias on the 1h xbow, you still need 61.7% more ias on your gear.
