Helping Rick out here. My opinion has always been that IK Irons vs. Archon gloves will always favour the Archons. They may roll less strength, but the # of affixes that can roll like vitality, AR, trifecta makes it better.

That's right. It's has high density of mobs and allows the player to keep it short and sweet. The loot drops are great too.

My barbie isnt leeching/generating fury fast enough, so i cant set nados and ww properly against ubers, or leeching enough life to survive to strong elite mobs

Hey GUys, sorry for delay in resposne, been a little busy with my new build-a-barb service. Just completed a couple barb upgrade sets for 150m and 200m respectively and 2 super excited customers wrecking face with their new barbs. Both barbs got huge DPS upgrade while not losing any EHP but in fact, gaining EHP In both cases. Currently working on (almost finished) a 1.5b barb built from scratch. Theres a few problems that jump out at my right away about your barb. For a sword and board barb, you need to pick up a sword for the APS. Look for a higher dps sword with socket + str + crit dmg or REALLY high dps with like socket+ str. Next, u want to upgraede ur storm shield to one with crit%. This will make up for the crit% loss due to using sword from weapons master. Lastly, u need to up your EHP by a lot. Get an Ik chest, will help huge with armor bonus.


Ur OH needs an upgrade BAD. FOr 225m, you can easily get a great OH with str/socket/lifesteal/high crit dmg. Look for a sword/dagger which offers u higher ASI






Honestly, yeah prices are high. But they will start dropping. Keep on the look out on the AH. honestly, even if ulose 4% crit, its not a huge deal cusu gain 9% attack speed as well which is huge for nados. But if u wanna save up, the crit ones will come up. Ive seen some for below 100m. Just gotta be on ur toes!

Sorry man thers so many posts that its hard for me to keep track of and respond to all. With regards to your request, 15m isnt really enuff to make an efficient/efective upgrade for ur gear. I would strongly recomend saving up to get a cheap IK belt + helm for the 2 set bonus or belt+boots. even if u lose a bit of dps, the EHP gain from the set bonus is huge! With regards to farming, i would recommend u stop farming at MP4-5 for keys. U should start doing a3 full clears at lower mps (1 or 2) which you can crush easily and kill every white pack within 1 ww/nado rotation. This farming efficiency is not only great for loot, but also great for xp!





U need movement speed bad. U currently running no ms which means ur only spawing like 4 tornados out ofa possible 5. Ur losing out on a lot of dps and lifesteal/loh with that. Prioritze getting lacunis. Even if its without crit and then pick up some cheap IK boots. After that, need to upgrad eur helm to IK helm for 2 set bonus. Swpa ur current OH to mainhand and get a new mainhand either sword/dagger for high APS with str/crit/socket/lifestea.



APS is a straight up APS add. For example, if u have 1.3 APS and u get .25 from echoing , it is now 1.55. where as ASI % is a relative increase. For example, if u have 1 APS, 10% ASI inreases it to 1.1. ASI scales more the more base APS u have.

Attack speed is so important for a ww barb especially after the proc coefficient nerf in the last patch. APS affects how many times ur nados tick. Given that ww/nado is ur major dps output, it affects it a lot. Also, the faster u tick, the more life u steal and LOH u gain depending on which you use. Not tomention, the inreased ticks inreases ur chances of critting in order to generate fury.


Your gloves are very nice. IK 5 piece is not required at all for ww/nado. In fact, i onyl suggest it to barbs on a budget as it is a cheap way to get some extra stats. However, i am not a fan of tyraels at all. U lose out on too many stats to get MS on that piece. Id much rather see u get an IK chest still just cause it is the best in slot cus of the HUGE armor bonus. U would make up for the MS loss by picking up innas pants. Its a move ive recently made because of the nerfed dmg, Innas pants with str/vit and 9% asi is BiS in termsof dps output and for nados.

Upgrade your helm and belt to IK pieces. Socket on a helm is a must. Andariels is terrible unless u get a very low dmg roll (7% or less) and a socket. Then with lifesteal on belt, drop lifesteal on ur mainhand and pick up high dps with str+sock+crit dmg. Preferably mace/axe.


I agree with this but i would ONLY do the frost cave IF it is a cavern of frost. The other one called icefall caves is terrible in terms of mob density and elite packs. U basically spend all day running and find absolutely nothing. Good advice from a good barb (acr), soak it in.




Another accnt i cant really understand caue its not english. I am guessing that its massive str/vit bonuss. Bsaed on ur 55k life, u can afford to drop a tonne of vit. So i would def switch to dagger sword. Axe is simply too slow which is why ur seeing problems with ur nado ticks as well. In terms of gameplay vs ubers. turn on clobber rune on bash and practice just hitting 2-3 times to get stun and then spinning around them once and then rinse and repeat. Shud make a world of difference.

Switched over to a barb after my frustration with my DH. Starting to pick it up, but im really clueless where to go from here, other than saving what for me is significant gold and making major upgrades to ik. In the mean time where to i go?
