Damaging Frozen targets can remove the Frozen effect from the target.

testing so far with magic missile charged blast and taking lots of normal and crit values with a wand thats only physical dmg, comparing to expected numbers with no effect on dmg, 5% effect on dmg, 16% effect on dmg

so far seems definitely an effect, but not sure if 5% or 16%. gna take a huge sample of hits and post results soon

My testing with

473-889 wpn (wand - all physical damage)
53-56 orb (triumvirate 5fire/5arcane/6light)
1.42 skill ed (glass cannon, familiar sparkflint, magic weapon force wpn)
132 crit dmg (23% crit chance)
1348 int
143% wpn dmg - magic missile charged blast

EXPECTED NUMBERS

526 - 945 x 1.42 x 14.48 x 1.43 = 15466 - 27785 (normal or 'white' range)
x 2.32 = 35881 - 64463 (crit range)


Added damage from triumvirate (2 x 526) x 1.42 x 14.48 x 1.43 = 30932 x 0.05 = 1546 or x 0.16 = 4949

5% range added dmg white / crit 1546 / 3588
16% range added dmg white / crit 4949 / 11481

ADJUSTING NUMBERS TO GET EXPECTED RANGES ON EACH SINGLE TARGET HIT WITH MAGIC MISSILE

NO % EFFECT FROM TRIUMVIRATE

in accordance with

I got slightly less numbers because I assumed 5% effect instead of 6%, but its spot on!

My testing indicates triumvirate adds only the highest % number from all its 3 mods


Now I will repeat same with exact wpn damage range but on arcane / psn affix wands

LOL I'm shit at presentation!

I would really like jinshin's numbers though, just to give him expected archon beam or exp blast numbers, and he can see if they tally! If he has high crit dmg even better!

Thanks a lot for that man. It seems to be pretty accurate because when I put in 6% bonus dmg on my dps calculator, the onscreen number dmg matches the number from the calculator.

And this is with my weapon that has arcane based dmg.

Man the source isn't that great then, no?

When I calculated onscreen dps, the final result was more or less 6% difference too.

yeah well to my mm it was adding 1546 - 3588, but thats with shit crit dmg, lowish int, shit source dmg (50 avg) , magic missile doing 1/2 of archon and less than exp blast, and it being a slow single target spell .... I think it adds a lot from that % to all the aoe going on with a cm/ww wiz.

Like I said, If you give me your int, wpn and orb ranges, skill ed, crit dmg / chance, and any +dmg on rings/amus, any elite/demon dmg youre doing, we could really see the damage improvement with any skill at any single cast

Havent even tested if elemental wands make a difference but I doubt it .... that guy pointed out the blue poster was wrong, it doesnt take physical dmg, it takes all and any minimum damage, multiplies it by 2 and adds the % (as base) I will make sure this is so too soon.

Schaeffer's hammer, magefist, frostburn, maximus, won khim lau ... xx element skills do up to 25 - 30% more dmg ... thats a stat! I beleive its that % directly applied after all calculations, for the specific element skills though. Won khim lau apparently is imba on monks, and schaeffers would be gg for high dps archon with shock pulse as main attack, for when archon is on cd. Or magefist + maximus on merc for meteor wiz / frostburn for old school blizz / hydra wiz
