well i use it only @ boss start/champs start...

when i'm with SS at 100%, i unload 4 impales at 100% crit and it's like 1kk dmg in 2 secs, it's just... woah!! LOL
i usually never play solo so i can also wait to charge up crits while my friends are tanking elites and then i shot em off :p

it's just lovely how they explode (fire dmg weapon = best animation on crit's deaths)

test it out for me:
1) do 3 runs of hell azmo and fight him with only devouring arrow. no mark of death no nothing else. - just hold down left click

2) then 3 runs with hell azmo and only use spray of teeth. no mark of death no nothing else. - just hold down left click

3) average out the clear time for each run (only count from first hit to last hit)...

if its less than say... o i dunno 5 secs or so diff than spray is better (since it can have potential for better aoe), but if it takes a margin longer, than devouring >

If crits > 30% Teeth is faster than Devouring, also better when fighting more than 1 monster since it hits all of them, i made a few act 1 clears and i'll go sticky with it from now on.
Forgot to test vs azmo hell, i did vs inferno butcher and it's like 10-15 secs faster everytime

yup yup, the most funny was against the warden, 1st arrow did pierce 2 times =
3 crits + teeths all crits to all zombies around, they all exploded lol.

edit: ofc i was with SS at 100% that's why they all crit'd

atm here it's 14.20 PM, i'll go back home in 4 hrs from now and i'll be glad to check this with ya :)

atm deciding between 2 setups:

Hungering Arrow - Spray of Teeth
Elemental Arrow - Nether Tentacles

Caltrops - Torturous ground
Smoke Screen - Lingering Fog
Shadow Power - Gloom
Preparation - Backup Plan

Archery
Steady Aim
Nightstalker

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hungering Arrow - Spray of Teeth
Elemental Arrow - Nether Tentacles

Caltrops - Torturous ground
Smoke Screen - Lingering Fog
Preparation - Backup Plan
Impale - Grevious Wounds

Archery
Steady Aim
SharpShooter

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

First setup gives a bit more survivability, expecially against dmg reflect/molten/plague packs.
Second setup gives amazing dmg spikes against any elite/boss fights.

Atm i'm sitting with: 28k HP, 150@ res, 3k def, 52k DPS (94k w/SS), 32%CHC and, sadly, no +disc bonuses.

If ur impaling you can't shoot other skills

I've always used 1 left click attack and 1 right click attack. All other skills I have for either buffing or situational (gloom) or oshit button like crystal shell/ss/serenity etc
