I’ve always been a big demon hunter player and fan. Going to avoid it this season As everyone is jumping on the train. I’ll be going either monk because they start with sunwoko which is their best set. Or WW barbarian. Unsure which I’m going to choose for sure tho as my friend is also doing barbarian

For Season 21 I think the Demon Hunter has a chance to slightly outshine the Barbarian. We shall see.
I'd say the Barb is still stronger for now. The Rend/Whirlwind Barb is superior since they were buffed.

But they didint nerf baba this season?

Not that I know of. Initially they had nerfed the full 200 % extra damage from Lamentation belt because Rend was so OP!
But after much outcry and complaints from the Barbarian community on the D3 Forum they brought back most of the damage.

Just start off with the Demon Hunter because the shadow set is quite powerful and it's free with the Haedrig's gift.
And once you reach level 70 and climb some greater rift levels you can just make a Barbarian a lot easier on the side.
That's usually what I do. I'll even use the gem of ease (level 25) to make some level 1 items. The Barb can level fast!

How to get that haedrig gift ?

You just need to complete your Chapter II, III and IV objectives. For your seasonal journey rewards.
It will tell you in the game. You'll get two set pieces after completing each chapter. It'll be in your inventory.
