The point is exactly that it's a western company bending over backwards to appease the Chinese. Where I live we are actively taking steps to counter influence of Huawei with regards to 5G network you know what I mean???
Business is business is useless in the greater scheme of things, maybe it's you who is young and naive.
We will see how this policy will work out in the long run, but fact is they are still a US based company and a large part of their established player base is right here in the west. Do you remember bli$$con last year and what it meant to their stock price?
Do whatever you/they want to do man, boycott,keep playing blizzard game, or criticize blizzard in A-hole. It does not really matter, when blizzard release a new fun game, most of players will come back again. END STORY! We are human being, and 90%+ of time our body desire always win against so called "dignity" and "Patriotism", especially to gamers whose has addicted mind. You will see!! Social Media news on how bad blizzard had have done and to the public are just waste of time from bunch of mindless people. THEY NEED TO USE THEIR BRAIN!! It just a small incident, why makes it look like THE END OF WORLD, and blizzard is going to lose majority of American based players. Jokes, lol
