Yes D2 was very popular.
PC sales also went through the roof that year. Everyone was fucking excited as shit. Now they can't even sell another expansion because of how great d3 was, dipshit.

PC sales prolly went through the roof that year, because no one was buying them in '99 because of the Y2K hype. bad example brotha.

As far as no more d3 expansion, i think thats probably a good thing, hopefully they will be working on the next diablo, or another ARPG that will be enjoyable as well.

No PVP, no trading, 4 player games, no public channels/games etc, cooldowns(ya f that)/massive nerfs, no pvp, and a rainbow ponyland...what kind of person really thinks they would make an expansion..they literally took out everything thing great about D2 and made it even worse by taking out the few decent things D3 had.

Let's be real. It is a terrible Diablo game. It may not be a bad game to some, but more people still play solitaire and I hear it has better endgame.
