Anyone who says yes to #3 never really played vanilla around launch time. There were some launch bugs, obviously, but 2-3 weeks after launch the game had more viable options then you will ever see again.

Now, each season the dev team makes one of the class-specific sets MEGA OP and everyone has to use that to stay relevant in any way imaginable.


Season 2 Wiz was FB
Season 3 Wiz was Tals
Season 4 Wiz was Vyr's
Season 5 Wiz was slow time.

Judging by the PTR, season 6 wiz will be FB again.

Rinse and repeat. Add 50% more damage, people do GR 115 instead of GR 100, everyone thinks the game has more variety.

And removing trade from a franchise that was built around having games survive 5+ years through resetting economies is something I would only expect from a person with Downs. Who ever made that decision at a D3 dev meeting needs to be taken out back and put down like a sick dog.
