Beating monster is WHY people play video games.

Lets look at Skyrim vs Diablo III:

Both involve getting gear from said monsters or crafting.
Both involve you exploring and talking to NPCs.
Both have a main quest line.
Both deal with magic and fantasy play.

The difference is just the way the games got to that end result.

They're also probably counting console. And the game is admittedly fun to play with your buddies drunk on a Friday night sitting on the couch fucking up a bunch of skeles seeing big numbers fly across the screen to enlarge your penis size.

Granted, I completely agree that the game feels dead - they still failed at getting a multiplayer game to feel multiplayer.

Watch, here, I'll do it again:

This shit is WHY people play video games. The reason this entire community hates Diablo III is because, AT LAUNCH, it was not Diablo II in it's final days. It's that simple.
Was it bad at release, SURE! But it's not the same game. Neither was Diablo II. Neither was WoW. Neither was half the online games you play.

You should judge a game based on it's execution of what it has to offer... not because of what it doesn't offer.

Does Amnesia have PvP?
No. Game must be bad. TY Men.

Does Limbo have end game raiding?
No. Game must be bad. TY Sirs.

you are serious when comparing a dungeon crawler to massive rpg games?

You are comparing Skyrim with its skills that you level up individually to gain items / advantages to diablo where every person has all the fucking skills and are all the same besides items and playstyle?
