Honestly I think D3 needs to lose it's "bold, personal sub forum" on jsp. There are typically 2-8 people browsing the discussion forums [Even now, mid-day on a work day with a lot of JSPers on their office computers/cells at work - 5 in the section].
Trade is basically non-existent other than legacy sales in SC and item carry services. I personally miss the way the game was with trade, was excited to get home and log on - and the JSP community was always active. Drama and epeen contests were fun to watch. Now it just feels like playing the lottery. Used to be you could farm and eventually balance out the RnG by selling small items in bulk to afford an upgrade, or finding a great item to trade for one. Now it's just who falls ass-backwards into a godly ancient weapon and instantly rockets up 500-600 ranks on leaderboards.
If I ever want to have positive discussions about D3 I typically just go to the Bnet forums. Much more active, much more pro-D3. The people who post here from JSP are the guys who are browsing the subforums while at work just trying to pass time. At least, that's the reason I come here
