LoH is not needed with Wrathful and +Health Globes, Attack speed isn't bad for a traditional CC build, but a stronger build choice for saders can be CDR and CHD paired with Judgement.

What is 'CDR' ?

Str, crit damage then crit chance, armor and resource reduction and LoH. Could always swap up the crit and crit chance with cool down reduction if you wanted.

How important is attack speed and life on hit for Crusader

Depends on your build, hammer builds with thunder struck will proc that LoH when the lightning arcs back to you as well as when the hammer hits. Don't worry about Attack speed until your Crit chance is above 50% and crit damage is above 250-300%. With the build I'm currently using/testing I have absolutely no issues in T2, whether that's rift clearing, bounty hunting or boss killing. I'd agree with LVL_Baals about the paragon levels, however mine are slightly different. My build is in a post above, but paragon stats and passives are below, was using more offensive passives but swapped a few pieces of gear which let me change the passives without any real loss in damage and sped up my run time.

Passives: Heavenly Strength (Massive damage and stat rolls, perfect imo), Iron Maiden (80k Thorns damage, works wonderful with my build), Stand Your Ground (15% block.. yes please), I think wrathful, whichever gives life per wrath spent (At 70 it's around 800 + 1% of healing globe bonus per wrath spent, gives me 14k life per hammer thrown)

Paragon Stats: Faster movement speed (i would say str or vita, whichever you need more but i like moving fasterto offset the -15% movement speed penalty of Heavenly strength), Crit Chance (always pick this first with all my chars), Crit Damage (again, always first for me personally) and Resistance (an absolute must with the build I use, the thorns burst damage is absolutely amazing when you trigger Iron Skin - Reflective damage '200% Thorns Damage' while standing in elite DoT's like Orbit orbs, fire chains etc, higher res = less damage to you so you can stand in the ele damage for much longer to keep putting out thorns damage).

I'm constantly trying and testing new builds on diff T levels, lmk if you have any questions i might be able to answer. If i don't reply here feel free to PM me and i'll get back to you soon as I can.

I agree 100% with Silva but unfortunatly with heavenly strength we cap out at 10% movement speed.

Sadly, however I mostly use it just to offset that debuff. Also, I could be completely wrong BUT in reading the movement speed under the details, it looks like the paragon movement speed is not taken into account towards the maximum movement speed that you can get from items. I haven't done any testing at all though.. i'm going to get on that unless somebody already has lol

This I gotta try haha! That 10% is depressing. Been using wings of angles to make up for it

Where am I going wrong with my character (items and skill build)? I have only been working on him for a few days keep that in mind. And I still have multiple upgrades I can make with just rare items while I find Legendaries worth using

Hmm, I'm typing this bit before I look at your char details, I don't think that you're doing anything wrong regardless (unless you're just being an over all prick lol), it's more likely the skills don't synergize with the gear as best they can. I'll definitely let you know what I think could be improved, or swapped out or rolled for a new stat. Here we go;

Stalgards Decimator - I would try and roll the Crit Damage for a Sok (make sure that's a replacement before trying), Unless you have really good life on hit already - if you do then roll that for a sok. Put in the highest Emerald you can afford, this will more than make up for the crit damage lost in the roll, and give you a TON of DPS. The difference in damage with/without the emerald is a bit over 100k.

Rings - I like both a lot, keep an eye out for a similar roll but with Life per Hit in place of the attack speed, perfect to swap out for longer fights or areas where you find yourself in trouble often. Other than that def try to get that 4.5% Crit Chance to at least 5.5%. If your funds are low then put this on your "To-Do when I can list".

Vigilante Belt - Keep an eye out for a lv 70 belt, a lot should spawn with better stats than that one, only because it's only lvl 61 and no Legendary Procs. Personally I use Thundergod's, what you should aim for is Str + Vit/life% (one or the other) + Res. As a secondary I try for Thorns Dmg.

Pants - These are good, roll that + Armor off and go for 2 sok. Diamonds until you can survive no issues, then Rubies.

Boots - Heh, these are almost identical to the ones I used to have. Only 2 things off the top of my head that would make them better, higher roll on movement (really only preference, i get most of mine from paragon levels), other thing would be blessed hammer damage (my main wrath spender).

Shield - Again, good but you need a Lv 70 version with higher rolled stats, I have that spiker shield that does x2 thorns to anybody who's "Provoked"

Gloves - Very nice roll, but if you're having issues staying alive in certain areas try to find another pair that's similar except instead of attack speed, go for Res or Life on hit.

Bracers - Assuming you use a lot of holy skills, these are great. If not then keep an eye out for similar ones that give the ele% of your Main skill/Crit Damage (i think this spawns on bracers, lol all from memory at the moment) or no % damage (if you need toughness) and look for Res or Life on Hit.

Goldskin - If it was a higher level with 3 sok it would be fantastic, keep an eye out for armor with those stats, just lv 70 and higher. if you get those and it has 1 sok, roll that one sok for 3.

Shoulders - Go for something very similar just lv70 with higher stats. with res if possible.

Ammy - This one you need to replace ASAP, level 70 ones can get you 10% crit chance, 100% crit damage, Main stat, 6% attack speed (i think that's the cap), crap load of Res or life%. Priority would be Crit Chance and Damage, after that Str/Attack speed, then Life regen OR life per hit (i prefer Life per hit). Most Legendary ones have badass special stats, keep an eye out for those def! (lol who wouldn't.. I know)

Helm - Get a higher level one with same stats, just way better roll's on them.

That covers the gear I think, when I get a real nice set of primary stats I ALWAYS try to roll thorns damage, it's a staple of my build though.

Your passives are fine, except Divine Fortress, swap that with hold your ground (or stand your ground, w/e it is) for the 15%extra block rate

Skills

I would swap Punish with Justice - Burst
This will give you the ability to regen your wrath from a distance when needed, also works quite well close range.

Provoke, I either use that rune or Clense to add a crap ton of life per hit. Depends on the situation

I use same thing on Hammer and Champion of akarat

Instead of heavens fury and Laws of valor I like Judgement - Resolved for the mass root and crit chance bonus And Iron skin - Reflective skin.

I would use something else, but when the provoke + Judgment + Iron skin all activate when you're standing in almost anything elites/bosses drop (orbits, desecration spots, fire chains) it either completely drops them in a few seconds (not with bosses, well on a few it works) or it leaves them with around 10% or less HP. I have around 18k thorns (not including the passive iron maiden, which i always have on, gives 80k thorns)

Hammers crush everything that's normal, that combo that bursts the thorns dmg annihilates the elites. If you mess up or a few elite mobs jam you up at once, hit akarats champ with rally for a nice continuous cool down reduction and keep bursting them.

My damage sheet is something like
550k dmg
12 mil toughness
20k Heal

with about 58% crit chance and (this is horribly low...) about 260% crit damage.

Lmk if anything doesn't make sense, if I don't respond feel free to PM me. Have a good one!
