why are you trying to be a CM wizard with bad skills?

Actually I quite enjoy the spec and was able to clear the entire butcher run with that spec except for the butcher himself. The videos I posted were the challenging ones.

I know other specs ARE better. However, I enjoy playing this non cookie cutter build.

I never said I was the best or anything. But I have no problem getting through those trash mobs.

I find theorycrafting fun. I'm always open to constructive criticism.

So yeah I may not be the best Wizard. I may not play the best cookie cutter spec. However, I enjoy that spec and stick to it because it is very fun.

and remember I am quite low geared for mp6.

I had some elite mobs that I just blew up in seconds, but I didn't post them. Those ones were easy. I wanted to show when it was actually challenging and I believe I did that.

I only do 150k damage, yet I stuck through it and never lost a stack. The video is more for an open source theory where anyone can take this spec and add to it.

makes no sense to use mirror images, makes no sense to use energy shield, makes no sense to use that energy twister rune etc etc

if you want something better but similar try this: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/wizard#UVYXTQ!YWg!ZcYcYZ you could also change crystal armor to sparkflint if you prefer that type of game play more or cold blooded to temporal flux if you dont care so much about perma freeze(temporal flux slows the enemies so you get more dmg vs enemies running towards you)

Where COULD I post this. I am sincerely looking for feedback. By the way, illusionist helps a lot and is the only reason mirror image is good at all. I setup my mirror images so they cast my spells as well. I am already planning to get rid of force armor and mirror image.


So if this is the wrong section, please refer me to the correct place to post this.

I enjoy running specs noone else does even if gimped. I just sincerely enjoy crazy specs people wouldn't think work. I'm the same way in wow and I can beat 2k rated teams and lead 2300+ rbgs with non cookie cutter random pugs.

Its to the point where I enjoy the theorycrafting and coming up with new ideas as much as I enjoy the game itself. Its a fun hobby.

But yes, for the third time, please refer me to where I SHOULD have posted this because I did not intend to put this in the "wrong" section.

I find my spec works much better in parties. Soloing is a challenge but I can do it.
