I gain about 5% damage reduction from the resists from OWE

Much less then 20% from resolve...

resolve only applies to the mob you are autoattacking. On top of that it only applies to the auto attack of the mobs as well.
In my experience the most damage comes from plague of molten etc and resolve does not affect that.

I spec'd out of it, no regrets

why are you not using blinding flash? it's the bestest monk skill ever, boh is not that good
and I think you should use the +100 max spirit passive, so you can drop a ton of bells after mantra+blinding flash
or bacon of ytar or nde if you wanna use exploding palm instead of bells
or guiding light if you are playing coop and wanna use boh instead of bells

You think 30% damage for 3 seconds is better then 15% with 100% uptime on a monks who's primary damage is sweeping wind??

And I don't tend to switch many skills out, specially exploding palm which just annoys me.

blinding flash is way better against elite packs for both dps and survivability

... It's 3 seconds, and I can survive without a 3 second change for them to miss. I could see maybe pure WoL but for my setup I doubt it'd be better.

It's 3 secs with trash mobs.
With elites ... it's like 1.5 sec
